Channel Tutorial
First of all, you will need to have an imagination to get sounds that you like for your song.
To start off start up Fruity Loops, create a new file. Look for the "Channels" drop down menu bar and then put your cursor over "Add One" and look at what you've got, if you have downloaded some, good for you, more to have fun with.

What works best is clicking a few such as BooBass (deep bass sounds) or 3xOsc (different techno-type sounds).

These two channels should appear one on top of the other, both with different colours.
Start off by clicking BooBass You will see a little window, as shown above that has many different controls, including Pan (put sound on left or right side), Vol (contols the channels volume).
Half way down the BooBass window you'll find Bass, Mid, and Treble, which simply control the bass, midrange, and treble of the channel, be careful how you set this, if you don't have decent quality speakers, it will sound like pure shit.
On the keyboard below that you will see a grey bar with breaks in it and little letters reading C0 - C9.
This is the tone of your channel the closer to C9 you get, the deeper the tone gets, the closer to C0 you get, the higher it gets, to set this you must RIGHT CLICK along the C0 -C9 bar to set this, you may also LEFT CLICK to make multiple tones for this.

Now lets move on to 3xOsc channel...
Now i know its not the best sounding channel or seems teh most useful, but believe me, sometimes it just adds that extra oomph to your song + it's got the fuzzy adjustment to make a neat beginning or end to a song.
I could spend hours and hours on how to make this channel sound perfect, but my fingers only stay nimble for so long so let's get to teh bare basics...
Just as the other channels 3xOsc has the keyboard at the bottom with the adjustable tone, the default is C5, which doesnt sound that great, but once again, some exploration and tweaking will find very high and low pitch sounds at either end of it.
The Osc1, Osc2, and Osc3 are all different wave lengths for the sound .

These settings make it sound differently.
For example, the icon second in from the right is a static sound, and the icon to the left makes sort of a telephone tone, useful?
You be the judge, however thats it for now.
Don't go too far or change the channel, oh I forgot, this isn't TV
